Mornington's old beach houses and its new townhouses along Main Street each get a wardrobe measured to the room Brodco actually finds.
Mornington is the Peninsula's main township, where Main Street runs down to the pier and Fishermans Beach, and the housing swings from 1950s beach houses to townhouses finished in the last few years. The old branch railway out to Mornington now runs as a heritage line from Moorooduc, which tells you how long this town has been a destination.
Because Mornington grew outward instead of being rebuilt, one street can hold a renovated original cottage and a brand-new duplex side by side. We measure each before designing, so the wardrobe suits the building rather than the suburb average.

In the original Mornington cottages the robe is usually a shallow recess with a rail and nothing else, squeezed into a room that was never designed around a modern wardrobe. In the newer townhouses the cavity is better thought out but the bedroom is smaller, so the design has to earn its keep in a tighter footprint.
Mornington sits at the northern end of the Peninsula's bay side, with Main Street, the pier and the heritage railway at Moorooduc just inland.
We regularly work all through the Mornington Peninsula as well as South East Melbourne. See the full list of areas we serve →.
Where a cottage has been extended and the main bedroom is now generous, converting part of it to a walk-in can be worth doing. In the newer townhouses around Main Street we usually design a built-in and plan the interior around the door swing and the window.
Yes. Those cottages are a large part of our Peninsula work, and the shallow original recesses just need planning around rather than replacing.
Yes, we choose door styles and finishes that sit comfortably with an older Mornington house rather than fighting it.
We do, and there the job is usually about making a compact bedroom store like a much larger one.
Our fixed quote covers the measure, manufacture, delivery and installation by our own team, so there's nothing extra to factor in later.
We build to what we measure, so an angled wall or an odd ceiling line gets designed into the wardrobe rather than treated as a problem.
